The D.O.S. technique is an improvement of Morscher's technique.
Doctor Thierry David's 5 year experience in the treatment of the lumbar
pars interarticularis defect with the D.O.S. instrumentation
in adult patients shows :
Better results for the fusion of the pars defect.
Good functional results, particularly for hard force workers
and sportsmen who resume their heavy work and sport activities
much more quickly than after a lumbo-sacral fixation
No loosening of the implant (good screw pull-out strength, nuts are crimped...)
D.O.S. is specially designed for the repair of the pars interarticularis defect
of L5, L4 or L3 in spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis (grade I or less).
